Netball at Holy Cross Girls' Primary School

This year has been a very busy one for Holy Cross Girls' Netball Club.  We have been working really hard, every Monday, after school with our coach Mrs Rice.  For the first time in many years we decided to join the Belfast Schools' Netball League and put our skills to the test!

Throughout the year our netball team of primary sixes and sevens have been travelling all around Belfast to play other teams. At times we were very nervous but soon we found our feet!

Last week we made it to the play-offs at Lisburn Racquets Club.  There were 16 schools there and the standard was very high! Although we weren't placed in the top 3, our team managed to score in every game we played!  We can't wait to play in the league again next year and we are always looking for new players! Keep your eyes peeled for news about our in-school tournament this term.

Well done to all the girls involved who have shown great commitment to the team and dedication to the sport! You have come so far and we were so proud of you!
