African Drumming
12th Jan 2016
Primary 5 had their first taste of African Drumming today with Gavin from Belfast School of Music. They learned that the skin on the African drum is made from goat. They had a go at playing the drums and following the rhythms. Did you know the middle of the drum is called "the base" and the edge is called "the rim"?
The girls really enjoyed playing the drums today and will be working with Gavin for the next 10 weeks.
