Our class novel is The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson.

We have researched facts about Barn Owls and found out lots of interesting information. Did you know that Barn Owls can turn their heads as much as 270 degrees?

Primary 4 used this information when writing their reports about Barn Owls. They will share these reports with Primary 3 who are learning about animals that live in the woods. Look out for the photos on the website.

We even had a special visitor to our class - a stuffed owl that is 100 years old!
