BEAM Internet Safety

Today we had a workshop with Emma and Patrick from BEAM Creative Network all about Internet Safety. Miss Magill was blown away by the knowledge Primary 6 already had. The girls discussed different apps that they use, and how to use them safely and responsibly. Did you know that if your location is turned on on certain apps strangers can see where you are? In Snapchat you need to turn on GHOST MODE.
Did you also know that you can set your accounts to private? Would you get up on stage in front of 1000 strangers and perform a TikTok dance? This is what it is like when we put our videos onto apps like TikTok.
