Big Schools' Bird Watch
13th Feb 2019
Some of our P5 girls took part in the RSPB Big Schools’ Bird Watch. First we went out into the school garden to put out some bird food to encourage the birds. We watched out for birds and listened really carefully as well. Someone even thought they heard an owl. We then decided to go inside and watch through the windows. We saw lots of gulls, magpies and pigeons. Miss Magill uploaded the data we collected to the RSPB. It is wonderful to know we are taking part in such important data collection and “citizen science”.
