Celebrating International Women's Day 2016
To mark International Women's Day Primary 6 took some time to reflect on the economical, political and social contributions that women make to society.
The girls carried out an interesting study of female inventors and were surprised to discover that essential everyday items such as car window wipers, dish washers and vital medicines to fight diseases such as malaria and leukaemia had been invented by women.
The girls found this study very inspirational.
The girls' response to this investigation was very mature, together they realised that it is important to celebrate and say thank you to those women who have been brave enough to help change our world for the better.
