Christmas Forest School!

The girls in Primary 1 and 2 have had so much fun learning outdoors, in Forest School this term. They have developed many skills, making them able to concentrate more effectively, problem solve and work collaboratively. The girls have shown lots of creativity and enthusiasm. They have become more confident when talking about their work and giving explanations. As they have participated in more than twelve Forest School sessions, this week they were awarded their Bronze Standard Forest School award. To celebrate their achievement, Ms Lagan lit the fire pit and the girls were delighted to toast their Christmas tree marshmallows. Then, they eagerly set off to hunt for the chocolate coins that were hidden in our outdoor area.
