Christmas Fun in P1

Christmas is such an exciting time for children and in Primary One we have used Christmas to extend our learning. In maths, the girls have been learning to identify repeating patterns, continue a pattern and even design their own patterns. Take a look at their Christmas patterns. They used objects, pictures and played games on our large interactive whiteboard. 

During play, the girls have developed their creative skills in the block area, designing and constructing Christmas trees, sledges and Christmas markets. They learned to experiment and adjust to maintain balance and strength. 

Take a look at some of their delightful Santa paintings. The girls are showing a great desire to write and mark make. Those finer motor skills are developing well.
