Disgusting Digestion

Primary 6 carried out a science experiment this afternoon. They investigated how our food is digested, starting in the mouth with our teeth and saliva, then travelling down the oesophagus before entering the stomach. Once it is broken down in the stomach it travels through both intestines before any waste products are expelled from the body.
