Disgusting Digestion

Some of the girls were disgusted with our digestion experiment this afternoon, as we looked at how food passes through our body. We used cookies for our food and showed how they would travel from our mouth, down our oesophagus and into our stomach. The food then travels through our small and large intestine before any waste food is expelled from the body. This experiment helped us to write our own explanation for the process of digestion.
