Early Writing Skills in Primary One

Our girls have been working hard to develop the strength in their fingers to make them good writers. We have been focusing on the pincher action to encourage a tripod pencil grip. Picking up small objects with the thumb and first finger, tearing paper, using glue to stick and playing with dough are a few of the activities we have been doing to support this. The girls are very focused and show great stamina.
