Edina Trust Spring Bulbs Project

Primary 5 had a busy afternoon being Citizen Scientists! They are taking part in the Edina Trust Spring Bulb Project helping the Museum of Wales to gather data about Climate Change and the effect it has on our spring bulbs. They girls adopted their daffodil and crocus bulbs, giving them names and measuring them before planting them in pots. We also received 4 mystery bulbs and can’t wait to find out what they grow into. Over the next few months the girls will have to measure the temperature and rainfall everyday and upload the information. They will also have to continue to measure the height of their plants as they grow. Such fun to use maths in real life. We can’t wait to see how our bulbs get on!
