Egyptian Explorers

The girls in P5 became explorers today - using atlases to find out information on Egypt as this is our new World Around Us topic. We used the index to find information in the atlas and then used the map keys to figure out what different symbols stood for. It was a good introduction to the new topic and the girls are very excited to learn more about the geography and history of Egypt.
