Engineers of the Future!

At a STEM workshop Primary 6 used K'nex to build their very own yachts. Their objective was to create a yacht complete with a sail and then race their finished products. Having raced their yachts the girls put their STEM thinking hats on and explored how factors such as energy sources, force and friction affected the operation of their yachts. It was fantastic to see the girls fully engaged in their projects and excited about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
