Healthy Eating and Sustainability

On Monday 11th October the Primary Six girls visited our local Tesco store. This visit was an excellent link with Term One's topic: 'Food and Fair Trade'. The girls were given the opportunity to investigate the nutritional content of a number of popular items on our shopping lists such as bread, rice and chicken and were able to identify a number of international companies in support of fair trade and sustainability.
