Humpty Dumpty Week
What an egg-citing week the girls had! They have been learning the rhyme, 'Humpty Dumpty' and did a lot of exploring and investigating around this theme. After examining the shell and what’s exactly inside an egg, the girls made scrambled egg and toast in school. From cracking their own egg to whisking the mixture and then plying (literally!) butter on their toast the girls delighted in their culinary skills. In the construction area, the girls built lots of walls for Humpty to sit on and they acted out the rhyme with some props. The girls developed their finer motor skills as they coloured, stuck and cut to put Humpty back together again.
