Inspired by Markey Robinson
13th Apr 2021
To finish off our topic of the Great Famine, Primary Seven studied the artwork of Markey Robinson. Robinson, a native of Belfast, was renowned for numerous striking pieces of artwork, most notably his interpretations of rural Ireland. Using oil pastels, the girls mirrored the style of Robinson’s work and produced some wonderful pieces. It is great to see their creativity flourish.
