Investigating 3D Shapes

Primary Six have been working hard exploring the properties of 3D shapes this week. They looked at the vertices, faces and edges which each shape has. The girls also looked at the nets of the shapes, to see what 2D shapes are used to make the different 3D shapes. Then they used Clixi to investigate the nets of cubes. Lots of mathematical thinking and talking in Primary Six.
