Irish News Critical Literacy Programme

As part of our work with the Irish News Young Readers Programme, Primary Seven explored how advertisements and images in newspapers influence us as readers. As well as that, the girls practised the skills of skimming and scanning a text for key words and phrases. We are really enjoying this programme and can’t wait to explore the theme of social media next week.
