Irish News Young News Readers Media Project

Primary Six are really enjoying taking part in The Irish News Young News Readers Media Project. As part of this project the girls receive their very own copy of the Irish News each week which they use to develop their Literacy and critical thinking skills. This week the focus was on Wellbeing. The girls discussed the importance of looking after their health and well-being, they looked at how photographs are used to display emotions and then identified articles from the newspaper which matched certain scenarios. The girls worked really hard and are looking forward to their next newspaper based activities.
