Irish News: Young News Readers Project

Primary Seven have been thoroughly enjoying this year’s Irish News programme. This week’s theme, ‘What’s in the News?’ enabled the girls to develop their skills in skimming and scanning a text. The girls also studied a newspaper photograph, they made inferences about the news that it represented and assessed why the editor chose that specific photo.
