Lego Maths

Primary 5 are working hard on their new maths topic of Area. We used Lego to learn how to find the area of rectangles and squares. We counted the studs on the top of the Lego. We also found out that multiplying the length by the breadth of a square or rectangle will also give us the area. We realised this links to arrays and multiplication.
