Litter Talk and Walk in P5

Primary 5 were visited by Kirsty from Belfast City Council. We were the first class to take part in their new Litter Talk and Walk programme. The girls learnt all about the issues with litter and then we carried out a litter pick in the MUGA. We were shocked at the amount of litter we picked up - most of which was plastic. It made us want to do more to help the environment. As it is Maths week we even combined it with some Data Handling - using our tally charts to record the amount of rubbish we collected.
