Magnificent Mathematicians
Primary Two have been working so hard on our maths this term.
We have been investigating teen numbers through lots of practical work to help us improve our number sense; using numicon, beads and unifix to create different numbers and we have even been learning about numbers that belong to the Square Club, Step Squad or Super Rectangle Gang thanks to the BBC show Numberblocks.
We have been exploring different ways to sort information and have been using pictograms and vent diagrams to help us learn more about 2D shapes.
We have also been investigating length and have been measuring everything from pictures of dinosaurs with cubes to measuring ourselves with classroom equipment!
A great term all round!
