Outdoor Learning Fun

Primary 5 had a lovely morning in Ballysillan Park with Aaron from Ulster Wildlife as park of our Outdoor Learning Programme. We used our maths skills to find the age of trees by measuring their girth and halving it. We found trees that were even older than Miss Magill! We loved doing some leaf rubbings and collecting leaves to create lovely squirrel artwork. We are really looking forward to our next session in January!
