Outdoor Learning
7th Mar 2016
Primary 5 visited Ballysillan Park today to work with Siobhan from Ulster Wildlife and Kristof from Belfast City Council as part of the Parklife Programme. We had fun learning about the history of our parks during a scavenger hunt and about the different types of twigs and trees. We collected bagfuls of twigs and Siobhan showed us how to use them to make minibeast homes. We hope to put these up around the school grounds to encourage wildlife. We are really looking forward to our next session of outdoor learning with Siobhan.
