P1 Explore the Great Outdoors

Primary One joined Wheatfield on our trip to Clandeboye where we worked with NIFS (Northern Ireland Forest School). The girls had a fabulous day. They were fully active, exploring and investigating nature around them from their autumn search to splashing in muddy puddles. The girls climbed trees, navigated different types of swings and were so engrossed in the very muddy kitchen! They even painted on their biggest ever, outdoor canvas! Making s'mores was a highlight and the girls were so excited as they toasted their own marshmallows. They were tired, muddy but very happy children at the end of a marvellous day.
