Primary One Read Everywhere!
Where ever you go this week you will be sure to find a Holy Cross Girl with her head in a book! The Primary One girls have been bitten by the book bug as they celebrated World Book Week. They have been reading outside and inside, under tables, under beds, on ledges, in the bath, as they cycle and even sliding down the slide. The girls have been so busy reading they have hardly time to eat their breakfast, never mind changing out of pyjamas! And did I hear their teacher climbed a tree to read? They've read on trampolines, sitting in special story seats and would you believe it ..... in the dark (with a torch to help). They read stories to pets, to teddies and to brothers and sisters. Have a look at the lovely photos they’ve sent in.
