Propagating Raspberries

Once again we had great fun in the garden with Priscilla from NBWISP. We are propagating raspberry canes. We can’t wait to be able to plant these in the school garden and harvest some lovely raspberries. The girls were asking lots of interesting questions about pollination and even had a chance to look at the variety of berries 🍒 which we have growing in our school hedgerow. Priscilla also showed us how to grow our own avocado 🥑 from the stone in the middle - I wonder will anyone try this at home? As usual we finished with some fun breathing techniques to help us stay calm and connect with our feelings.
