Safer Internet Day
Primary Six had a busy day discussing Internet Safety today. The girls were very knowledgeable about how to stay safe online and how to behave online. They talked about following the same values online that we use in school, being respectful and kind. The girls had the opportunity to look at how to avoid being scammed, using CCEA’s Scamwise interactive activities as well as looking at how to set secure passwords. They then worked together to create their own versions of Snakes and Ladder - where the ladders showed all the sensible things they can do online, and the snakes represented all the actions they should avoid when online.
