Scarecrow Workshop
6th Sep 2017
P5 were delighted to work with Siobhan from Ulster Wildlife today to create a new scarecrow for our school garden. They used straw to stuff the scarecrow and then dressed it in a Holy Cross Girls' uniform. They were a bit concerned that Mrs McNally might think one of our girls is playing in the garden when she should be in work. It was a nice introduction to Siobhan who will work with us throughout the year as part of the Parklife programme. The girls also loved the new seating in the garden. Thank you Mrs mcNally.
