🧪Science Through Stories📚
10th Nov 2021
In celebration of World Day of Science for Peace and Development, Primary 6 took part in some scientific experiments. These were inspired by our novel Charlotte’s Web and were all related to spiders 🕷. We had fun learning that a spider uses its sense of touch and vibrations to find out if a predator or some prey has landed on its web. Did you know that a spider uses its digestive juices to liquify its prey before it starts to eat them because it has a very small mouth? We also found out why a spider doesn’t stick to its web. Great enquiring minds in Primary 6.
