Seismic Citizenship 2019

Primary Six had a great day at W5 as part of the launch of the Seismic Citizenship programme that they are participating in. The Seismic Citizenship programme is a funded by the British Council and the Department of Education NI. The programme aims to encourage schools to:

• Create international links;
• Promote the learning of a foreign language;
• Teach young people about an alternative culture;
• Raise the awareness of global citizenship;
• Promote skills in STEM.

The pupils had the opportunity to meet their Spanish tutor and learn a little bit more about the programme. Have a look at our photos and check in regularly on the website to track our progress in the weeks to come.
