Service of Commitment & Light

In preparation for their Confirmation Day on 27th January, Primary 7 are learning to become more responsible and have promised to undertake new commitments in school, at home and within their community.

Their certificates of commitment were blessed by Fr Myles during the Service of Light.

During the service parents also handed the children's lit baptismal candles onto them, showing that they will help and support their children to try to live out the call of their Confirmation.

The Service of Light is the first step on the road to the Sacrament of Confirmation and Primary 7 showed in their prayerful participation that they are committed to becoming responsible adults of the future.
