Service of Light

Our P7 girls, with their parents and sponsors, began their preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation today in the Service of Light. The children made promises to help others in school, at home and in the community. These were presented at the service and blessed by our chaplain, Fr Myles.
The parents/sponsors handed the girls special candles to represent the 'Light of Christ' coming into their lives and asked the Holy Spirit to be with them always.
F...r Myles thanked the parents for their dedication to their children and told them they should be proud of the support they had shown to them.
The service was a beautiful beginning in our preparations.
We thank Father Myles for conducting a beautiful service. We also thank the Primary 7 parents and sponsors who made this a wonderful, memorable event for the girls.
