Spring Forest Schools in the Foundation Stage
Primary 1 and 2 have been very busy with our Spring Forest School activities.
We started our term looking for minibeasts around our school grounds and have more recently been creating minibeasts using clay.
We have been using nuts and bolts recently to create patterns and this half term our girls used their knowledge to help them create some vehicles using nuts, bolts, milk carton tops and wood.
We have had lots of work to do in the garden preparing our wildflower bed and carefully measuring the area so that we could use the right weight of seeds for our wildflower bed.
Our construction area has been very busy as well, our girls have been creating all sorts of vehicles, buildings and even playgrounds using our equipment.
We have also been practising our counting skills outdoors using lots of loose parts to create sets and our loose parts have also come in very handy in our loose parts cafe!
Our girls continue to amaze us with their creativity and enthusiasm! Have a look at our video!
