TESCO VISITS PRIMARY ONE

The primary one girls had great fun on Tuesday morning when Gail, from Tesco's Antrim Road, came to visit. They tasted healthy drinks (water flavoured with fresh fruit). They made 'Happy Faces' on their plates selecting healthy foods such as cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, grapes, blueberries, cheese, ham and chicken. Some girls even added pumpkin seeds for freckles on their faces! The best part was eating (or at least tasting) the food on their plates. To end off the session Gail had a bag for each child containing an apple and some fun activities. We hope all the girls will complete their healthy eating chart over the next 2 weeks.
