The Brook by Alfred Lord Tennyson

This morning, Primary Seven analysed the poem, ‘The Brook’ by Alfred Lord Tennyson. The girls identified how this poem, written in the Victorian era, was brought to life through the poet’s use of personification, onomatopoeia and alliteration. They found the imagery very striking and felt immersed in the poem’s setting.
