Our Primary Seven girls are working exceptionally hard in preparation for November’s SEAG examinations. During their after schools club today, the girls analysed and evaluated Seamus Heaney’s ‘Blackberry-picking’. The girls identified a range of literary devices including smilies, metaphors, alliteration and onomatopoeia. They also explored how the mood of the poem changes and discussed how Heaney conveyed this to the reader.
We finished the session with a ‘Kahoot’ quiz, this enabled the girls to sharpen their skills in numeracy.
Keep up the excellent work girls!
