Visit to Holy Cross Church ⛪️

Primary 4 visited Holy Cross Church in preparation for their First Holy Communion. 

Ms Shannon came with us and was able to tell us lots of interesting facts about the church! 

We also met Father Gareth, who spoke to us about the importance of our First Holy Communion. We also learnt that the ‘Priest’s chair’ is actually called the ‘President’s chair’ - you learn something new every day! 

Father Gareth also let the girls taste the bread (which was not yet blessed) that they will be taking during their First Holy Communion. 

The girls really enjoyed the trip and can’t wait until our next visit. 😊
