Primary 4 L are learning about World War 2
3rd Mar 2015
Primary 4 have been learning about World War 2. We learned that food was rationed. Rationing began in 1940. This meant each person could buy only a fixed amount of certain foods each week.
We learned that people tried to be clever with their rations and used leftovers to make different recipes.
We made bread and butter pudding.
