Which Direction Are We Going?

Primary Six spent their numeracy lesson outside today. They used chalk and worked in pairs to investigate the points of a compass. The girls gave each other directions and they had to find out which direction they should be facing at the end of the instructions. There was lots of discussion over what a 90° angle looked like, and which way to turn for clockwise and anti-clockwise. Lots of practical learning and cooperation on show today.
